a MEMORANDUM NPCC From: VPSC To : DISTRIBUTION Date = 05 JUNE, 2014 Ref.: SMO6/VPSC/021-14/028 Subject : WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY- JUNE 05, 2014 - CONTEST ‘The World Environment Day (WED) celebration has grown to become one of the main vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and encourages attention and action. It is also a day for people from all walks of life to come together to ensure a cleaner, greener and brighter outlook for themselves and future generations. In recognition of the World Environmental Day, NPCC HSE Section is organizing a Drawing / Handcrafts / Posters / Cartoons contest. The main objective is to draw the attention of NPC staff, families & sub- contractor employees towards environmental protection and to motivate them to patticipate in environmental awareness campaigns. The contest criteria are as follows: 1 The theme for NPCC contest is in sync with the WED theme ‘Small Islands and Climate Change’ and the slogan is “Raise Your Voice Not The Sea Level”. Entrie 4. Open to all NPCC employees, their families & sub-contractor employees. 2. One entry per family is allowed 3. Entries should be Drawing’ Handcrafts/ Posters/ Cartoon in line with the theme, Entry levels: 1. Children below 12 years 2. Children above 12 years 3. Employee or spouse 4, Subcontractor Employees From each level, five (5) entries will be selected by a judging panel and rewarded. Selected entries and the message behind each entry will be widely published as a poster for promotion of the concept. Please ensure that the entries reach HSE on or before June 23, 2014 and the name of participant must be shown at the extreme bottom right corner of the entry. (if the participant is a dependant, state the name & badge number of NPCC employee and his/her relationship with the employee.) We welcome only original ideas depicting the theme.
