Describe how you would Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity
in your classroom: the uses will help each other use technology effectively in the
math classroom. They will share experience, activities, and comments.
What technologies would be required to implement this proposed learning activity
in a classroom? Students need access to Internet and computers. Also they need
an email address and password to sing in to the site.
Describe how the following features are addressed in this learning experience
(note: all of them may not be addressed in the project, but most should be if you
are reaching a high LoTi Level.):
a. Collaboration with peers, near-peers, mentors outside their classroom
and often beyond their school: Students will communicate with
students and mathematicians around the world.
b. Student-centered learning and knowledge creation (collecting original
data and or producing original products as a result of engaging in the
project): students will share their opinion and relate the math problem
to real life experience.
c. Higher-order thinking: Students will collaborate with others,
understand multiple perspectives, and learn to respect diversity.

about their product: Students will publish their solutions to share with

What Level of Technology Implementation best describes this learning activity and
Why? Students will reach LoTi level of 4 6. Students use technology, engage in
collaborations with peers and students around the world, and sometimes students
create projects using technology.
How could you implement this proposed learning experience and still comply with
your districts Internet Safety and Student Privacy policies? Students will not allow
publishing their names; they will need to use nicknames. Also they will not include the school name or
the teacher name. All the videos will post the safe classroom blog. Before publishing we need to obtain
permission form the parents or guardians.
