The twentieth century was the age of genocide.

Mad men held the reins of power,

The world was shaken by the furor of their wrath.
During the political revolutions in Europe,
A hundred million souls perished from the earth!
Under the cloak of the first world war,
The Turks sent a million Armenians to their graves.
Under the hand of Stalin at least fifty million people perished,
The count still goes on till this day.
Hitler's plan for a master race,
Put six million Jews in ovens of lethal gas;
At least another six million were exterminated and buried in mass graves.
The weak being disposed of by the powerful,
In deliberate plans to horrific to mention,
No longer recognized as human beings.
Sanctioned by the governments of men.
To eliminate a subservient group by a ruling one,
Isn't new to the human race.
The fact that it happens at all shows a haunting defect,
Deep in the conscience of the intelligent ape.
In a group the apes become of one mind,
Seeking the approval or fearing the disapproval of others.
This failure to confront the atrocities of it's leaders,
Must stem from a primordial code of survival

Where one become many and many become one.
The bones in massive pits crumble into dust.
The slaughtered are the criminal's in the eyes of the state,
Thus no one has to answer for the evil that took place!
(And it is still happening today)
