Polish Evaluation - Turkey

Visit to Turkey brought both ss and teachers many benefits. They refere to social
and educational aspects as well as to the increased awareness in reference to culture,
history and customs of the visited country. The main part of the visit took part at school
where all partners had the chance to show their presentation this time films about
sweet dishes. Thanks to the presentations we could learn about most characteristic
sweet dishes in each partner country and decide which is or are the healthiest. By
tasting Turkish home-made foodstudents could check in what way Turkish cuisine
differs in taste from others and reading their descriptions see where the differences in
taste come from. Turkish hosts took care of appropriate time management for their
guests organising additional activities and trips to places of cultural and historical
importance.
It was memorable meeting for all students and the teachers. The only minus was
that there was so much travelling that we were all pressed for time.

German evaluation

The cultural programme was great and well organized as always. We saw many
awesome sights and were really impressed, students as well as teachers. The only
thing we all missed a little bit was some free time to relax a bit.
The students were very happy with their host families, they were hosted really
well!

ROMANIAN EVALUATION OF THE TURKISH VISIT

The fourth meeting in Kastamonu, Turkey from 26th to 30th November

2014 was a very good opportunity for the Romanian students and teachers to find
out more about the Turkish Educational System and the national beauties.
The students had the chance to improve their linguistic abilities, as well as
their social ones by interacting with students from the other countries and the
Turkish family members.
Romanian students were very excited with their host families who took care
of them very well, making them feel like home, being nice, friendly and warm.
Romanian teachers were also very pleased with the accommodation and
meals and the program was very well organized and it had presented us the most
important places in Istanbul and Kastamonu.
The traditional meals prepared by the host families were so diverse and
appetizing that we have tasted from all of them. The host families really did their
best!
The cultural visits have let us know the historical places of Istanbul: the
Panorama Museum, the Galata Tower, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, the Topkapi
Palace, the Dolmabahce Palace impressed us with their history, traditions and
beautiful sites.
It has been a very good experience as the coordinator has done his best to
please us and show us his beautiful country!
Thank you for your great effort!

Spain is really happy of having taking part in this visit. Students and teachers really
enjoyed the visit. Id like you to tell the families thanks again for having hosted our students,
they got really pleased with them. Moreover, my students families also asked me to give
their thanks to the host families of the Spanish team, they were also really happy.
Ayhan, it was real pleasure to meet you again, my fourth time in Turkey, wonderful
country.

ITALIAN EVALUATION
What I've really loved about my turkish Comenius experience has been, firstly, the
warm hospitality of Ayan and his school at Kastamonu.
I've also enjoyed the snow during the road trip from Kastamonu to the Black Sea: I've
played snowball with my students and they were really happy because they could hit me
knowing that thay wouldn't have been punished.
Istanbul was just fantastic.
As a teacher, I thinh Comenius is much better than the usual schooltrip, because it
allows you to spend much more time with colleagues from all over Europe.
Despite the weather, it was cold and rainy almost every day, it's been a really nice
experience.
