We are learning to write our

own riddles

What am I?
I have no colour, not even white,
but sometimes Im wide and blue.
Sometimes Im still, sometimes I rush,
and I can fall down on you.
I can change my shape, I often do,
but Im hard to hold in your hand.
You need me to make your castle stand up
when youre playing in the sand.
I havent much taste, but on a hot day
Your tongues hanging out for me.
Then I am cold, but I can be hot
When Im in your mums cup of tea.

Write at least 6 clues about different things.
Use present tense (mostly!)
Try to be clever!
Begin each sentence with a capital letter and end it with a
full-stop, question mark or exclamation mark.
Use a comma before but.
Finish with a question What am I?
