Mr.

Seshu Cheera was appointed as an Individual and Societies teacher during this academic
year. He has done his masters in Political Science and has an experience of teaching the Indian
curriculum. Before taking up his role as MYP teacher, he attended the induction Programme
and was part of planning meetings organized by the HOF and the Coordinator.
Few concerns, we had with Mr. Seshus attitude and work ethics right from the beginning are:

Ineffective Parental Communication

Abusing the students physically
Involved in spreading rumors
Make hasty decision/Need maximal supervision
Not an effective Team Player
Using irrelevant info. while teaching

In spite of mentoring and counseling him on a regular basis, we have not seen any major change
in his behavior and attitude. At Oakridge, we need teachers who are committed to exceed school
expectations and work professionally. Therefore, we need to take a call for Mr. Seshu who
seems to be the wrong fit for the organization.

MOM
Mr. Biju stressed upon the steps taken to improve discipline of the school. Coordinators
need to apprise Mr. Biju immediately through sms/ email about any in disciplined
students in their respective segments.
Academic excellence award ceremony must be planned for the MYP and CIE segments
in the month of December. Mr. Biju instructed coordinators to work on the initial
planning that includes:

Invitation
Flow of the programme
Principal to be briefed
Compering/ Presentations
Teachers requirement for the next academic year need to be done in the format shared
with Mr. Biju. Coordinators need to colour cells with Red, Yellow or Green according to
the teachers performance
Budget for the next academic year to be worked out by the coordinators
Book list format for the next academic year must be in line with the one shared by the
Principal
Requirement of Assistant teachers for Maths and English was communicated.

Wishing you all a very blessed, prosperous and wonderful year ahead and may we together reach newer and
greater heights of excellence.
Every impossibility can be fragmented into a possibility when we all are together in our endeavors.
Together we have and we will accomplish great things.

Dear all
Its was a pleasure for me to see that exhibition preparation going on in full swing today.

Few important tasks to be accomplished before short break tomorrow:

Final Participants List Please send the final lists (along with student ID no.) ASAP
otherwise we will not be able to arrange transport for the participants. Thanks to those who have
already sent- CAS, ICT, English, Languages, MUN (Pls add Id no. if you have not and resend
it). I will send an aiyamah after short break to collect the hard copy of the list which was sent to
you earlier. I hope you must have updated it by now. I would request the VA, Science,
Psychology, SI unit, social sciences, careers and Math department to send Ms. Rubina,
Mahalaxmi and me the final list at the earliest.
Exhibitions Pamphlet I would request Science, ICT, Psychology, SI unit, Careers and MUN
in charges to send me the exhibition pamphlet ASAP. PFA samples of the other subjects for your
reference.
Few things to be mindful while designing it are:
1.
2.
3.
4.

It must be colourful and vibrant

Must have a nice border
Heading must Include exhibition title and venue only ( No other info. is required)
Must be readable (choose the correct font, size and colour)

If required, please make changes and send the final draft to Ms. Rubina and me by tomorrow
morning. I have to give it for printing by the end of the day.
Door Decoration Door decoration will be solely your responsibility and must be done
beautifully.
Exhibition Set up The final set up and rehearsal will be done on Wed 17th Dec. Mr. Biju and
Ms. Hema will come to review students performance and exhibits on that day.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance
Thank you

Dear Ms. Rubina

We need to take colour print outs for few exhibitions especially MUN and Adventure camp. I
checked with Mr. Ram babu already; he is saying that there is no provision to take printouts
from the ICT lab.
A quick query- Can in charges (after my approval) get it done from their end and then we can
reimburse the amount?
Also, we need chocolates for Math and English exhibitions. Can the amount be reimbursed for
them as well? Please check with VPs and let me know, how I should go about it.
Thank you

Dear Ms. Marcia

Greetings from Oakridge!
Let me introduce myself to you. I am Baljeet Oberoi presently working as MYP Coordinator at
The Oakridge International School, Hyderabad. We have introduced MYP curriculum in this
academic year and are presently in candidate phase.
Since 75% of our teachers have not undergone MYP category 1 workshop this year; we are
looking for an in school workshop so that the maximum staff can be trained in one go.
I have few queries with regard to itCan we select the workshop or is it only launching the MYP workshop?
Numbers of teachers who need to be trained are 25 (approx). Will it be the same workshop for
all or we can have different subject/ category workshops?
If we confirm you by the end of Dec, can the workshop be conducted during the third week of
May?
Looking forward to hear from you soon
