Elimination of Diseases as Public Health Threat 2. Rabies Control Program 3. TB Control Program 4. Other Infectious Diseases_which are “incorporated” in the 2015 DOH Regional Office’s budget_and RITM including Sub allotment for the implementation of 11 Public Health Programs for the Prevention, Control and Elimination of Infectious Diseases. I. RATIONALE Prior to 2014, funds from the cited budget line items were released in entirety by the ‘Department of Budget and Management (DBM) to the Department of Health Central Oifice. In 2014, the DBM released fractions of fund from the cited budget line items and incorporated into the funds of the former Centers for Health Development (CHD) and hospitals. A Department Order was issued to the hospitals and former CHDs as a guideline for expenditure. This 2015, the same procedure will ensue, thus the issuance of this Department Order to the DOH Regional Offices and RITM, IL OBJECTIVE ‘To provide guidelines in the utilization of funds incorporated into the DOH Regional Office’s budget and RITM from the cited line item budget. I. COVERAGE This Order covers utilization of funds intended for the implementation of the following 11 Public Health Programs for the prevention, control and elimination of infectious diseases: A. Elimination of Diseases as Public Health Threat 1, Malaria Conirol Program (MCP) 2. National Filariasis Elimination Program (NFEP) 3, National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) 4, Schistosomiasis Control and Elimination Program (SCEP) . Rabies Control Program . TB Control Program . Other Infectious Diseases 1. National Dengue Control Program (NDCP) 2. Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Diseases (EREID) 3. GENERAL GUIDELINES L.
