Ans. When Maratha McCaskey got silicon 6 project she wasnt able to collect proprietary
information required by the client from targeted companies that was troubling her. She
contacted Silicon 6 Plants equipment manufacturers. They were unusually closemouthed.
McCaskey also contacted raw materials suppliers to semiconductor manufacturers from
them also she didnt get any information. McCaskey went through random set of events &
She also contacted European manufacturers of semiconductor but they also didnt provide
any information. McCaskey called devon to set up an interview. The most obvious thing that
was troubling her is the fact that she did not believe this is right. The fact that she was
misrepresenting herself to Devon who was earnestly trying to help her that made feel her very
uncomfortable.
Maratha McCaskey should have taken help from Kaufmann because he knows how to get
information from people like Kaufmann has done in past also by contacting ex-employees of
targeted companies he retrieve information. That Should have been better option for
McCaskey.
