HSC:
Health Sciences Center

The School of Medicine, the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, the School of Pharmacy, the College of Health Professions, Temple
University Hospital, and the Student Faculty Center are located at the Temple Health Sciences Center.

MERB
: Medicine Education and Research Building

The Medicine Education and Research Building (MERB) is the main medical school building containing classrooms, study/meeting rooms,
the library, and a music room. The upper floors contain research laboratories, the anatomy lab, as well as faculty and department offices.

SFC
: Student Faculty Center

The Student Faculty Center (SFC) is a multi-purpose conference and recreational facility accommodating events, meetings, conferences, a
variety of recreational services (gym, exercise rooms, pool and ping pong tables), the bookstore, student health and financial services. The
SFC office offers discounted tickets for sports games, ski trips, shows, and more throughout the year.

TUH:
Temple University Hospital

You will often hear stories and learn about your future interactions with patients across the street at the Temple University Hospital.
During your first two years, you will be shadowing your preceptor and meeting patients there as part of the doctoring course. During your
last two years, much of your training will take place here during rotations.

MERB Food Court:
Einstein Bros Bagels, Phila Bowl, Sushi, Pizza

Einstein Bros Bagels (in the MERB cafeteria) sells coffee for $1 if you use your own thermos!
Anything you purchase from the MERB Cafeteria or the Hospital cafeteria is tax-free if you use Diamond Dollars
Look out for breakfast and lunch combos; offered at a much lower price than a-la-carte items

Temple Hospital Cafeteria


Many students buy breakfast and lunch at the hospital cafeteria, located in the lower level (basement) of the Hospital. There are hot food
options, a sandwich bar, a salad bar, dessert, and coffee. Prices are lower here than in the MERB cafeteria.

Shriners Hospital Cafeteria


Located on the 6th floor of Shriners Hospital for Children, accepts cash only.

Boyer Pavilion
Located on Broad Street directly across the street from MERB; great sandwiches and wraps.

Restaurants & Food Carts


Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Saffron Indian Restaurant, Philly Pretzel Co., and more restaurants are located a few blocks away from MERB.
Food carts are available across the street from the SFC.

The ceremony will take place at the Temple Performing Arts Center on
Main Campus.
Dont forget your White Coat and Tickets!
Dress is
business professional
(no jackets required, since you will be coated with your white coat).
If Driving: Free parking provided for event at Liacouras Garage (15th between Cecil B. Moore & Montgomery)
If Taking Public Transportation (SEPTA): Broad Street Line local to Cecil B. Moore stop, then walk to the
Temple Performing Arts Center 1 block away (on the East side of Broad).
