CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All entrants declare they are medically & physically fit and capable of participating in the event,
and are not aware of any impairment that will prevent or impact on their participation or that
of others.
2. All entrants accept that participation in the event is at their own risk and agree to comply with
all rules and directions of the event organiser and race officials.
3. Each entrant acknowledges that participation in the event may involve a real risk of injury from
various causes including over exertion, dehydration and accidents with other participants,
spectators and road users.
4. All entrants waive and release the event organiser and any company, body, or person, directly or
indirectly associated with the event.
5. Each entrant agrees to abide by advice given by event medical staff regarding their health and
well being and consent to receive and pay for any necessary medical treatment before, during or
after the event.
6.All entrants (in the run events only) agree that place getters will be awarded based on gun time
and that it is the responsibility of the participant to position themselves closest to the start line,
should they believe that they have a chance of placing in the event.
7. All entrants acknowledge that should they withdraw, or the event be cancelled or changed due
to reasons beyond the control of the event organisers such as for safety reasons or inclement
weather conditions, the entry fee is non refundable.
8. All entrants consent to the use of their name, image and statements by the organiser in the
marketing material in relation to the event.
9. All entrants grant the event organiser, contractors, suppliers and sponsors to send them event
and promotional material.
EVENT EJECTION
1.1
We reserve the right to refuse entry to the Event or to ask you to cease participation if:1.1.1
you fail to follow instructions given by Event officials;
1.1.2
you attempt to participate in the Event in a manner that we, acting reasonably, believe:(a) may cause injury to you or another participant;
(b) may damage or harm the environment;
(c) in our opinion is likely to cause offence; or
(d) otherwise causes a risk or potential risk to health and safety including any failure, in whole or
in part, to comply with the restrictions in Condition 2;
1.1.2
you attempt to participate in the Event in a manner that we, acting reasonably, believe:(a) may cause injury to you or another participant;
(b) may damage or harm the environment;
(c) in our opinion is likely to cause offence; or
(d) otherwise causes a risk or potential risk to health and safety including any failure, in whole or
in part, to comply with the restrictions in Condition 2;
1.1.3
in our opinion you are unfit to participate in the Event due to:(a) the consumption or use of alcohol or drugs;
(b) an injury or illness; or
1.1.4
you fail to arrive at the start location at the specified time; or
1.1.5
you are unable to make sufficient progress in the Event to allow you to complete the event in line
with timelines set by Event officials. Competitors will only be eligible for a medal and to feature in

the results in they complete the course before the official cut off time which is currently 10:30am
on the day of the Event (subject to variation at the organisers' discretion).
1.2
If, in accordance with Condition 1.1, you are refused entry to the Event or we ask you to cease
participation in the Event, you must remove your bib, identification number and electronic chip and
return them to an Event official.
