Dear All,
It is officially our 100th issue and who would have thought that a small initiative that started with
CHOGM 2011 will go such a long way. Every issue is currently circulated to 300+ subscribers as well as
more than 4700 readers have read the electronic version available on web.
We are grateful to all the patrons who have provided feedback and comments during last 200 weeks
and hope to continue with the same. Thanks to all of you have contributed the news items for the issue.
Last week we launched the quiz to coincide with the Hepatitis Awareness Week and as part of a grant
received from Hepatitis WA. In all 43 responses were received of which fifteen respondents were
randomly selected to receive the free tickets to our event on 8th August.

BOKSI( THE WITCH) : NEPAL EARTHQUAKE FUNDRAISER FILM SCREENING
The Australian Nepalese Friendship Society Inc. and the Nepalese community of the Canberra region
present a fundraising screening.
Based on the popular book of Balkrishna Sama, the 'Shakespeare of Nepal.'
When: 6.30pm, Friday 14 August 2015

The film is based on a conservative Boksi (witch) thoughts in Nepalese community and
psychological impact on children and it's consequences on the society. The film Boksi( The witch )
has been awarded as the special film by the Nepal Film Development Board and best film in
Chhayachhabi D cinema Award.
There are English subtitles and non Nepali friends would also enjoy it. Keep 14th August free and
please come support us as proceeds will go to rebuild earthquake affected rural School in Nepal.
100% of the profit from the screening will be contributed to rebuild earthquake affected school in
remote rural Nepal.
