My educational background has prepared me for the role of Nurse Supervisor. In particular, my study of
nursing at the bachelor level has given me a solid background so that I can perform supervision
and management roles. My nursing degree focused on 6 BSN outcomes: Collaborative
Leadership, Theoretical Base for Practice, Generalist Nursing Practice, Scholarship for Practice, Health Care
Environment, and Professionalism. I was able to meet those outcomes by improving quality of care, leadership
opportunities in the community, applying knowledge and skills to the work environment, implementing evidence
based practice, and collaboration with other health care professionals and community partners to promote
health and nutrition programs. I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and up-to-date skills to the team.
