In this connection, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has conveyed that MoD will henceforth accept the application for grant/renewal of defence clearance for construction of Power Projects (Hydel, Therma, Solar, Wind & Gas) through the Nodal Ministry i.e, the Ministry of Power only in order to verify the credential/bonafide of the project and the developers/proponents. 2. In this regard, the MoD has loaded a Brief Note on “Procedure for issue of NOC for construction of Power Projects” on the main page of the Website of the Ministry of Defence. 3. As desired by the competent authority, it is requested to upload the Brief Note on the Website of the Ministry of Power for its wide publicity among all stakeholders.
