Sport activities
Oz-tag:
This is a non tackle version of rugby league. Maximum of 8 players at any one time - mixed, maximum 4 men.
Defender must remove one or both tags to stop attackers progressing. He/she then holds up the tag and drops
it to the ground marking where the play the ball should occur.

Crazy Tennis:
Tennis nets are set up to halve the courts. Children are split into 2 sides. Some children are given tennis
rackets and plastic rackets. Numerous tennis balls are handed out and hit back and forth over the net.

French Cricket:
The game requires one batter and any number of fieldsmen. No stumps or pitch are required. The batsman
makes a stance with the bat held vertically in front of the legs. The person with the ball throws it towards the
batsman (any bowling/throwing action is OK).

Hall Hockey:
Consists of 2 teams of six; 5 players and 1 goalie. Split class in half. Allocate a number to each child. Pick out
6 numbers each round and these will be the players for the 2 minute round. Players are not permitted to raise
the stick above the shoulder, hit the stick of an opponent, use the stick to obstruct an opponent reaching the
ball or moving around the field,

Basketball:
Playing in teams of 5, using a full or half court. Split class into 2 and allocate numbers. Play 2 minute rounds.

Frisbee Golf:
Start by practicing skills with students by throwing frisbees into nets. Half the class can stay practicing while
half plays a game with frisbeee. There needs to be a goalie to catch Frisbee. Aim of game is to get the frisbee
to the goalie. Mark out an area to play in. Students pass the Frisbee. Once they have Frisbee they cannot take
a step they need to pass frisbee to get it down field.

Hall Soccer:
2 teams of 6, 5 players and 1 goalie. Split class in half. Allocate a number to each child. Pick out 6 numbers
each round and players are on for 2 minute rounds.

Vortex:
Take out the box of vortex and have students throw them around in small groups. Have students practice
throwing long and short distances. Have football targets out and have students attempt to get vortex throw the
hole.
