Welcome Back!

Course Description
Physical Science is an introductory course to chemistry and physics.
Students will gain a basic understanding of these sciences through lab
investigations, projects, and ample practice problems. The critical
thinking strategies practiced during this course will prepare students
for future courses and for careers in science, engineering, and other
technical areas.

I am excited to welcome you and

your student to our Physical
Science classroom. I graduated
from Georgia Tech with a
bachelors degree in
Environmental Engineering and
after working in that field attended
Austin Peay State University for
my Masters in Teaching. I am
looking forward to getting to know
your child and leading him or her
to appreciating the many
interconnections of math and
science and their applications in
society.
