The woman had
found out her husband had been cheating on her, so she drowned her children, and then when he
arrived home, she slit his throat, and then killed herself.
But this Halloween, on a full moon, Tabitha and her friends Danny, Elesia and Jackson decided
to check out the house. As they walked towards the front gate, they saw a girl, in a black dress with
straight black hair standing in front of the gate, as if debating wether or not to go into the house.
Hey! Tabitha called. Tabitha Danny hissed what are you doing? Im going to see if she wants to
join us. She replied, sauntering towards the girl in her angel costume. She may be the new girl, but
she should know not to mess with that house. Elesia spat.
The girl turned around, slowly. Hello. The girl said in a
muted
voice. Im Tabitha, Tabitha began
My friends and I are going into Widow Malices house. Would you like to come with us? she said in a
kind voice. Sure. The girl replied My name is Absinthe. Tabitha turned towards her friends. This is
Danny, she said, pointing to a boy in a Danny Darko outfit. He nodded at her This girl in the Elvira
costume is Elesia and the boy in the vampire outfit is Jackson.

1. I have this special

to see peoples life spans. 2. I cant actually see how they die or
how many years they
exactly have left
, but I can see a certain color above their head. 3. There are
three colors that may appear, green, yellow and red. 4. Green means that they have a long life left,
and that they die of old age or some kind of
ailment
in their old age

realitively long life left, but they will die in a tragic accident, like a car crash or accidental drowning. 6.
Red, however, is more
malignant
. If I see someone with a red glow above their head, it means that
their death is very close, usually by a brutal way, such as murder or suicide.
7. I can see everyones colors, with the exception of my own.

I usually feel pity for those
who have a red glow above their heads, as their time is coming. 8. As I walk along the street, I can see
whose time is coming soon and usually, the

green aura is all I see. 9. Ocasionally, I see yellow
glows radiating from them, but not that often. 10

most red Ive ever seen in one year is six. Six people were murdered one year, and when they showed
a picture of the murderer, he had a green glow to him.

is that murders gain half of the life span left of someone that they kill, and
thats why they often have a green aura. 14. See, on the reports on the news, I can see the murderer
and they almost always have a green glow to them.

Thats how I spent my summer. 15. This
summer, I learned how to control my gift and see more clearly, as well as figure out the trick about
murderers, and now that Im going back to school, I can see my classmates glows.

16. As I stroll through the halls at my new school, I watch for the colors that appear above my
classmates heads.

smile as I gasp. He is the only one in the room who doesnt have a red glow.
