CONCLUSION

5.1

OVER VIEW THE STUDY

This paper set out to identify the impact of UTM Space student doing a part time job
through reporting the results of a survey form undertaken in UTM, Skudai Johor Bahru. The
findngs from the survey indicate that students continue to take part time job during their part
time study even they have a full time career. This adds futher weight to the view that combining
academic study with part time job employments continues to be a majority experience for
student.
5.2

RESTATEMENT OF OBJECTIVE
Turn to our research objective is to identify the number of UTM Space student doing

part time job, and also the reason of student working part time job, to find duration spent while
doing part time job, to determine whether part time job give negative and positive impact to
their academic performance.
5.3 REVIEW OF THE FINDING
The finding of this research question, in majority student are doing a part time job
while do a part time study. They agreed that part time job give them a good experienced,
skills and a social benefit. In the other hand, respondent deny that part time job always give
them a negative impact although its are there.
5.4

LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

Limitation of this study is all about the time. If we have more time for continue do this
research, we want to distribute this questionnaire to all student who are studying full time in
UTM, Skudai Johor Bahru.

6.0

RECOMMENDATION

We would like to suggest further studies look into the relationships between part-time
job and student discipline or behavior.Future studies that expand the scope of the analysis to a
wider range of societies are needed to better understand the association between part-time work
and part time study commitment, job statisfaction, academic performance at university in
Malaysia. Finally, it is important for both instituition nd family to corporate in seeking ways to
help student who work part time during do part time study in the same time manage their job and
still perform well academically.
