Guidelines on Proposal Submission

1. Cover Page
Proposals submitted should contain the Project Title, date of submission, the address and contact
numbers of the promoters.
2. Table of Contents
This section is optional, depending on the detail and scope of the proposal. This outline will assist a
reviewer in finding her/his way through the proposal.
3. Executive Summary
Provide a clear and concise summary of the project.
4. Project Description
The basic idea of the project should be expressed; the philosophy or premise underlying the project
should also be explained.
5. Goals and Objectives
General statements specifying the project's desired outcomes should be outlined.
6. Procedures and Methods
Describe the approach or method to be used in the proposed activity.
7. Budget
This section should include the financial items needed to perform the project.
8. Monitoring and Evaluation System
This section should present the overall evaluation process, both for assisting the ongoing progress
towards achieving the objectives and the actual outcome of the project.
9. Timelines of the Project
Schedule and duration: indicate the project's total time duration.
10. Sustainability Plan
This section should show what happens to the outputs of the project after an intervention / program
ends. The plan should consider activities/processes necessary for embedding and owning of the
project by the intended beneficiaries.
11. Key Personnel Information
This section should provide information on the key personnel to undertake the project.
12. Organization's Information
A brief description of the organization, including its legal name, history, activities, purpose and
governing board.
13. References
This section should be included only if literature has been cited in the proposal.
