Course Requirements/Expectations
1. Students are required to attend class prepared to participate in discussions. This
will require effort on the students part to complete out-of-class reading and
writing assignments.
2. Complete homework assignments on time; this will determine whether or not you
pass or fail.
3. Library and Computer Lab time is limited; therefore it is important for students to
utilize their time efficiently. All projects must be completed on time in order to
allow for the necessary time to present during class.

A notebook specifically for economic note taking and activities.
#2 Pencils-for Scantron tests/quizzes (Bring these every test/quiz day)
You are responsible for bringing proper materials to class EVERYDAY.
Assignments
*All work must be turned in when it is called for, unless otherwise specified.
*Excessive amount of incomplete assignments will result in a low
homework/class grade
*Any assignment made before your absence must be turned in THE DAY YOU
RETURN (or on time) or it will be LATE and receive a grade not to exceed 70
percent.
Tutoring
I will be available for tutoring by appointment. During this time, we can go over
a lesson, talk about makeup work, review your grades or address any other individual
needs you may have in order to help you with this course. Generally, my tutoring
sessions start at 8:00am.
Behavior
You are expected to follow all Code of Conduct/John Horn HS Campus rules and
guidelines. Common courtesy and respect for both the instructor and your classmates
will be expected at all times.
Cell Phone
The cell phone policy of JHHS will be adhered to during this class. Having your
cell phone out during inappropriate times will not be tolerated. I consider inappropriate
use of your cell phone to be a reflection of your behavior.
