PossibleSetupIssues
IftheDTMFsymbolsarenotcapturedcorrectly,theitispossiblethattheTriggerArmsettingofthe
measurementisContinuousandthegatetimeissmall.Itisrecommendedtosetthetriggerarmstate
tosingleandretrymeasurement.
Ifmorethan16DTMFsymbolsaretransmitted,theDTMFmeasurementonlyprovidesresultsforthe
first16DTMFsymbolsdetected.
Iftheinputsignalisnotpresentorislessthantheminimumrequiredinputsignal,thentheintegrityis
setto"UnderRange"andallotherresultsofthemeasurementare9.91E+37.
Iftheinputsignaloverdrivesthereceiverorisclippedbythereceiver,thentheintegrityissetto
"OverRange"andallotherresultsofthemeasurementare9.91E+37.

InterpretingIntegrityIndicatorvalues
SeeIntegrityIndicator
IfOverRange(5)isreturned,itindicatesthattheinputpowerhasexceededtestset'sinternal
samplermaximumvaluebyatleast6dBduringsomepartofthesamplingortheinputpower
hasexceededthecalibratedrangeofthetestset'spowerdetectorfortheexpectedpower
setting.
IfUnderRange(6)isreturned,itindicatesthatthemeasuredinputpowerismorethan20dB
belowtheexpectedinputpowerlevel.Underrangealsoindicatesthattheinputpowerismore
than2dBbelowthecalibratedrangeofthetestset'spowerdetector(30dBm).Iftheexpected
inputpowersettingiscorrectlysetforsignallevelintothetestset,anunderrangeconditioncan
stilloccurifthereceiverhasnotbeentunedtothesignal'sfrequency.
IfBurstNotFound(25)isreturned,itindicatesthatnovalidDTMFcharacterismeasured.
Ifthemeasurementhasseveralerrors,theerrorthathasthehighestpriorityisindicated.
