The Bodhisattwapath in Swami Vivekanandas way of

thinking

In this early 21st century human being have succeeded in building an

advanced material civilization with hands and brains, and along the way
have managed to overcome many of lifes challenges. Never the less they
donot feel inner-peace,so searching here&there. So realize this ultimate
ideal mans self awareness and inherent wisdom must be explored and
developed. As it was in two great personalities or we can say two great
thinkers of their time. The very first one is Buddha and another is Swami
Vivekananda.
By the word Buddhism, we can understand the doctrine of Buddha. He,
who was the first of any other world teacher of ancient days, taught and
wncouraged people to think for themselves, to reason out and test for
themselves, to reason out and test for themselves, and also not to be
bound by any blind belief. We can see the same thoughts in Swami
Vivekanandas way of understanding. He also advised same like
Buddha. As Buddhism was famous after the Third Council(Sangiti), same as
Hinduism after the Parliament of Religions. At the time Buddha was born,
india was inneed of a great spiritual reformer. Buddha, who had the brain
and the heart a heart as infinite as the broad sky. He felt how the
masses were led by the priests and he wanted to do something about it.
Buddha did not want to any power over any one, and he wanted to break
the mental and spiritual bonds of men. The very similar thing we can see
in Swamijis life. When he utters, - have a tremendous faith in
yourselveshave that faith, each one of you, in yourself. Vivekandas
large heart always crying for the common masses. The heart, many
around us may have, and we also want to help others. But we do not know
the ways and means by which help can be given. These two men had the
brain to discover the means of breaking the bondages. They gain
knowledge why men suffer and found the way of suffering.

In this short effort we will see how Buddhism influenced the activities of
Vivekananda. The fundamentals of Buddhism i.e.compassion or Karuna
will also be seen in Swamijis practical Vedanta. In addition various artistic
&architectural aspects will be focussed.
