Incidentally, while I question some premises of the movie, the movie does offer meaningful life reflections. The
premise of finding another habitable planet in a habitable solar system zone in another galaxy seems very
unlikely, let alone three planets, given over 402 Universe and 922 Milky Way Galaxy anthropic constants each
finely-tuned and balanced on a razor's edge for life to exist. Some meaningful reflections, on the other hand, are
portrayals of conscience impressed on character's hearts that point to a conscience Prescriber.
On a late Saturday night in August of 2013, ______, DM, D, and I engaged in interesting conversations in a Denver
cafe over some dessert after ______ introduced DM, D, and me to each other earlier during an outdoor
community dance social at a city park. After some rounds of pleasant comments, DM shared D's photographs
and displays of Masonic, Illuminati, and pagan symbols throughout Denver and corporate use. DM focused on
sharing information with ______, who evidently knew her as a camaraderie friend after meeting each other some
weeks or months before. As DM and D flipped through and presented pages of pictures from Ds scrapbook,
DM and D eventually shared Jewish and Christian symbols, as if they somehow have some particular kind of
connection to other symbols. We agreed Masons or Freemasons historically and presently have much behind
the scenes power, influence, and noticeable symbolic presence despite their claims of being just another
fraternal and charity set of organizations. From this, DM went on to say and claim Christianity borrowed
teachings about the Trinity, as a way of describing a monotheistic deity or Supreme Being, and Jesus
resurrection from Egyptian mythology.
As I listened to DM speak as if he had knowledge about reality or authority, particularly when DM was
presenting Jewish symbols leading to Christian symbols, my internal radar went up and I realized our
interesting conversation was turning into a crucial and possibly challenging conversation where stakes could
be very high. I remember feeling much concern for ______ as a dear friend thinking she could be vulnerable to
deception and I could be vulnerable to my weak response that may reflect poorly on the credibility of truths I
comprehend as true.
During a momentary break in DM's presentation, ______, DM, and D looked to me and someone asked me for my
comment. Reflecting on this, my memory is fuzzy at this crucial point but I may have either hesitated to
respond or stumbled a little. Shortly thereafter, I awkwardly commented something to the effect we need to
verify claims for truth by testing them for actual un-deniability, self-defeating falsity, logical consistency,
empirical adequacy, and experiential relevance. ______, DM, and D looked at me perplexed as if they were
thinking, OKwhatever or OKwhat does Vobos reply have to do with these subjects? While my
answer was technically correct, it missed the mark and failed to connect. Either before or after my comment,
probably immediately after, ______ asked me in a condescending tone as if I was nave in believing in fairy tales,
"Are you listening?" in favor of DMs conclusions. I was concerned by her penetrating question given our
reconciled social friendship and my heart sunk while observing the very real possibility that ______, who about a
year and half prior was attracted to possible merits of Christianity due to her friendship with me, drank the
Kool-Aid or swallowed whole as idioms go, and accepted deceptions of so-called parallel theories regarding
mystery religions.
Observing ______s apparent acceptance of DM and Ds presuppositions, premises, and conclusions as true
without question, I was surprised to see this knowing ______ is a community college science department
laboratory coordinator with professional and postgraduate degree backgrounds in engineering and science.
That is, I would hope she would ask critical thinking questions to discern if DM and D spoke with knowledge or
simply with faith that they knew what they were talking about. After all, anyone can attribute anything to
anybody, but the real issues are what are true versus what are false. She could have asked critical thinking
questions to gain information, make DM and D defend their own views, or exploit a flaw. Some examples of
follow-up questions could include source materials, scholarship or factual, peer review, who really borrowed
from whom, and prejudiced irresponsibility questions. As for any source materials DM or D could have

revealed when asked, I would think she would want to know whether or not these source materials are
historically reliable by applying historical tests of early testimony; eyewitness testimony; having testimony
from multiple, independent, and eyewitness sources; trustworthy eyewitnesses; corroborating evidence from
archaeology or other writers; any enemy attestation; and any testimony containing events or details that are
embarrassing to authors.
Thinking back, since DM and D, particularly DM, made these alternative claims or theories, they have the
burden of proof or defense for their claims. The challenge for me was to respond in such a way to keep the
burden of proof on them to defend their claims. In other words, their credibility should have been on the line.
In light of all the positive and good evidence for Jesus' resurrection as I present and referenced on this website,
they must offer positive, first-century evidence for their alternative claims for us to consider them. Now that I
know about Columbo Tactic questions after new friend Joey of Reasonable Faith (RF) Denver Chapter
introduced me to Gregory Koukl's book titled "Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions"
during the summer of 2014, it would have been better for me to ask DM the question, "How did you arrive to
that conclusion?" to have him defend his and D's own views.
Given this experience, I realized my need to learn how to engage in "defense of truth" conversations using
questions and prepare to give answers to ______ and others to give reasons for the hope I have. In other words, I
need to defend my confidence in Truth with gentleness and respect. So I embarked to find good information,
contacts, support, and effective communication tactics and accommodations.
After inviting and hosting Vance, Jeremy, and Paul, three men I trust, to meet me in a community space for me
to share my concerns and for us to pray, Vance, who I know from a Men at the Cross Weekend and Redemption
Group, forwarded information to me announcing the arriving weekend seminar featuring Quantum Physicist
Dr. Sarah McGee. In January 2014, Dr. McGee, who just received her doctorate from the University of Colorado
in Boulder, spoke and held "Finding God in Science" workshops in Wheat Ridge for her debut. Participating in
her Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning workshops, I conversed with her and she
revealed she had internships with the Reasons To Believe (RTB) organization under Astrophysicist Dr. Hugh
Ross. Searching online, I found the RTB Denver Chapter and the Ratio Christi global movement. The name
'Ratio Christi' is Latin for 'The Reason of Christ.' I attended a local RTB Denver Chapter meeting and
subsequently met Ratio Christi contact Ken for lunch. In June 2014, Ken referred me to the newly formed
Reasonable Faith (RF) Denver Chapter. I attended the second RF Denver Chapter meeting and thereafter
introduced RTB and RF Denver chapters to each other. In July 2014 during a RF Denver Chapter meeting, host
Robert announced Xandra as the founding Resident Defender and Director of Ratio Christi at Colorado School
of Mines (RCCSM) in Golden. After attending a RCCSM event in Golden late in 2014, I met Xandra and Faculty
Advisor Physics Professor David in December 2014. From then on, I served to promote events and volunteer
for public booth and outreach efforts for these organizations. These organizations regularly host public
speaker and training session events. By the way, the fastest growing organization among these three is RCCSM
in Golden directed by master organizer Xandra. Master organizers Xandra and ______ have a lot in common.
Maybe someday I can introduce these two women to each other.
As I mentioned before, I suffer loss and am very concerned that reconciliation and saving rescue may have
slipped away. Within a few months after a local political influence and quick-response team, of which ______ and
I were pioneering teammates of, and I experienced shocking, unexpected, and tragic reactions witnessed by
three other teammates regarding a statement during the summer of 2014, I began reading books on how to
engage in crucial or difficult conversations, talk when stakes are high, discuss what matters most, and keep my
friends and convictions. I realized I really do not know how to respond to certain kinds of conflicts. Following
are books I am reading again:
