Veracruz Carnival

Veracruz Carnival which takes place in the city of Veracruz in Mexico. It is made
for 90 years, in the beginning ran Av. Independence in the historic center of the
city which was changed, and now takes place in the Boulevard Manuel Avila
Camacho.
Before Carnival born at the dawn of civilization and ancient people used masks,
costumes and concept of joy and celebration in the different periods of the
year, so this practice can be considered as the source of the party.
During the nineteenth century, was celebrated as a "masquerade" which was
masked balls in the best halls of the city in which the participants took the
opportunity to parade through the streets on their way to, at the same time
residents and curious, involved the joy and bustle.
Since the beginning of the twentieth century, the Carnival is organized by a
committee composed of citizen volunteers.
Veracruz Carnival is the most important of Mexico and one of the largest in the
world, considered the happiest of the World. For nine days, the nine preceding
Ash Wednesday parades are made colorful flooding the streets with a musical
and festive atmosphere, the first event of the carnival is the burning of Evil
Humor, in the ninth day of the funeral takes place Juan Carnaval. During the
festivities grand balls and masquerades are arranged, and the traditional
danzon of folklore of Veracruz is interpreted. His music from harps, marimbas
and guitars fills the entire festival, which is the most popular place.
This Veracruz party has had several sponsors, Superior beer stands, in recent
years has been the sponsor Cerveza Sol with multiple characters. Note that so
far have promoted three generations: the goddesses of the sun, the sun and
the Amazon invasive sun.
Veracruz Carnival is very intense and interesting, and you can have a good long
time between the excitement and festivities.
