Dear Parents,
I have been noticing a lot of confusion as far as what is due and when. To make things a little easier, I have decided
to try and link on with what Mrs. Wave was doing last year. I will send home an assignment sheet as well as a quick note to
let you know what is happening during the week. As students finish assignments, you will see that they use a highlighter to
mark off the completed assignments. There will not be anything added or taken off unless I send notice or have students write
on their weekly agenda. I will also be sending home a weekly progress report so that you are up to date at all times on
grading. Expect to sign both the progress report, agenda and big 5. This will ensure that you are well informed and in the
loop about all that goes on. Please let me know if there are any questions.
This week you can expect to see some homework in Math Tuesday-Thursday. You can also expect students to be doing
a lot of reading. This is important as there is only 5 weeks left until the end of the quarter! Students have been given
reading goal numbers that will help you to know the point value that they are responsible for. By the end of the week they
should be around half way through their points. We just finished reading The Giver and students will be taking an AR test
worth 7 points as a final comprehension exam.
Have a Great Week!
