PRIOR KNOWLEDGE:

Students will have a minor

understanding about what erosion is.

These activities will help to further

enhance their knowledge regarding

erosion.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD:
1. Settle students into the classroom and
have them be seated.
2. Reflect on what was taught/learnt from
the previous lesson.
3. Pose questions to ensure students
understood the previous lesson and are
able to recall what was taught.
4. View power point about erosion
5. Discuss as a class how humans may
have an effect on erosion; give ideas
such as buildings too close to the beach

etc.
6. Show YouTube video of erosion. Play up
until 1:30.
7. Get into groups of two or three and
draw a picture of how humans are
affecting the changing coastlines,
specifically erosion.
8. Present pictures with confident
explanations on how humans contribute
and have an additional affect to the
natural erosional process.
9. Class summary.
