Electrical Purposes.
ASTM B231, Standard Specification for Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum 1350 Conductors.
ASTM D1248, Standard Specification for Polyethylene Plastics Extrusion Materials for Wire and Cable.

NEMA WC 70, Nonshielded Power Cables Rated 2000 Volts or Less for the Distribution of Electrical Energy.

Caractersticas:
Los cables deben estar diseados para operar de manera continua a una temperatura del conductor de 90C,
130C en condiciones de emergencia y 250C en condiciones de cortocircuito.
Servicio:
El fabricante debe garantizar el servicio tcnico-comercial y el adiestramiento a travs de un representante
localizado en Venezuela.
Certificados de ensayo:
Con cada lote de produccin el fabricante debe suministrar los certificados de ensayo que demuestren el
cumplimiento de la especificacin tcnica.

Embalaje y transporte:
Los cables deben estar empacados en carretes metlicos.

Identificacin:
El cable debe estar identificado cada metro con la siguiente informacin:
- Corpoelec
- Fabricante y ao de fabricacin
- Tensin nominal
- Calibre y material del conductor
- Aislamiento y cubierta
- Longitud

Responsabilidad:
La responsabilidad del fabricante no queda exonerada, por la omisin de la inspeccin o por la aceptacin de
entrega de materiales o equipos en almacenes de Corpoelec Regin Capital.

Las puntas, tanto internas como externas, deben estar selladas con terminaciones contrables u otro medio
perdurable que garantice la proteccin e integridad del cable.
El dimetro mnimo del tambor del carrete debe cumplir las especificaciones de la norma NEMA WC 26: Binational
Wire and Cable Packaging Standard.
La longitud del cable en el carrete debe ser la que se observa en la siguiente tabla.
