Government servants of Maharashtra State should be allowed
reimbursement of charges for prenatal and postnatal treatment
received belore and after child birth for physiological or other
disability-attributable to child bearing or child birth:

Resolution:- According to the provision of note below rule 10 of the
Maharashtra State Service (Medical Attendance) Rules. 1961. the
Government servants are not entitled for the reimbursement of the
expenditure incurred by them on the medicines which are included in the
list of inadmissible medicines published by the Government of India
(Director General of Health Services) for the purpose of Central Services
(Medical Attendance) Rules, 1944, However. the proposal to make
applicable the list of “Admissible” medicines to the State Government
Servants instead of the list of inadmissible medicines” was under
consideration of Government of inadmissible medicines” was under
consideration of Government for some time. Government is now pleased
to direct that in modification of the orders issued in Government
Resolution Urban Development, Public Health and Housing Department,aera wea Frofa, ous a A ve
No. MAG-1062- $, dated the 19th June 1962 the list of “admissible”
medicin should be made applicable to the Government Servants.
Government is accordingly pleased to direct that the note below Rule 10
of the Maharashtra State Servic (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1971
should be substituted by the following note:
The reimbursement of the expenditure i curred by the Government
Servants on account of purchase of medicines included in the following list
of medicines should be allowed

1) Antibiotics, capsules, tablets, dusting powders ointment ctc.
2) Sedatives, Analg
antipyretic drugs.
Tranquillisers and Hypnotics and
3) Chemotherapeutic drugs.
4) Parasympatholytic and parasympathemimedio drugs.
5) Sympatholytic and Sympathomineticordrugs.
6) General cerebral stimulant drugs.
7) Vasodilator drugs.
8) Local Anaesthetics,
9) Antigungal and antiparastitic drugs, ointments and dusting
powders.
10) Antihistaminic drugs.
11) Antix Vitamin Preparations.
12) Hormono Preparations.
13) Antitoxins, vaccines and sera.
14) Any purgative, carminativeantiometic or emetic drugs and
antidiarrones drugs, Cholagogues.
15) Anticoagulants.
16) Anticarcinomatous drugs.
17) Cardiao Glycosides and Antiarythmic Agents.
18) Antihypertensive Agents.
19) Diuretics
20) Oxytocis
