Art is the medium through social customs are expressed.

Social customs give a particular society its distinction, identity, and character. Through
the arts, they are given tangible embodiment or expression.
HOLY WEEK CELEBRATION
- This is also known as Semana Santa (the Spanish Translation) or Mahal na Araw.
1. MORIONES FESTIVAL
This is a festival that is held on the Holy Week
The Moriones are men and women in costumes and masks replicating the garb
of biblical Roman soldiers as interpreted by the local folks.
2. PASYON
This is verse narrative about the life and suffering of Jesus Christ
The verses are structured in five-line stanzas, with each line containing eight
syllables.
The Pasyon is commonly sung during the Holy Week, starting Monday.

This is the art or handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle or
thread or yarn
This art also incorporates other materials such as metal strips, pearls, beads,
quills, and sequins.
