College Activities and Awards/Accomplishments

Member of Student Nursing Organization (2 years)

Delta Zeta Sorority with a position as T-Shirt Designer (1 year)
3rd Degree Black Belt: leadership is one of the attributes emphasized in the
American Taekwondo Association alongside the mind and body training used for
self defense and safety awareness. Their Leadership Program focused extensively
on life skills, such as passion, empathy, discipline, the ability to focus and set
goals. This program also incorporated advanced training in weapons and selfdefense. Beyond the physical skills, I value the moral character that I started to
develop at six years old. The positive character qualities taught, such as:
discipline, perseverance, dedication, loyalty and honor for oneself and others
sculpted the person I am today.
International Baccalaureate Program of Visual Arts: My artwork was assessed
through an internal exhibition in 2010 to express the title, medium and intention of
works that I had created. Each body of artwork was created through reflection and
evaluation, which showed synthesis of skill, media and concept.
