Alright class is there any questions from before the break that

Assessment of Prior Direct Instruction: Students will ask questions about the

assignment if they have anything. The teacher will begin with
explaining how the project planning will work.

Students are expected to behave during this assignment

project. Their plan for the day should be to make the plan and
start brainstorming ideas for the newsletter. Students are
expected to work together and complete the task in an

Alright class I want you to get into your groups and I will hand
out the planning sheets.

Direct Instruction: The teacher will explain what needs to be

done on the planning sheets. The planning sheet consists of all
the days they are allowed to work on the project for. The
teacher will explain how the planning sheet works. The
students will brainstorm ideas about their newsletter and begin
planning it on the planning sheet. The students must follow
their plan so making it reasonable will be essential. The
students should take their time.
Assessments/
Students will complete their planning sheet and hand it into the

teacher to photocopy allowing for the teacher to set up any
activities the students may need. The teacher will collect the
planning sheets at the end of class and hand them back the
following class. This planning sheet are a part of the
assignment rubric- the students must follow their plan.

Students will begin working on their newsletter after they have

on the project. The teacher will walk around and answer any
questions the students may have.
