Camera layout- Olympic swimming

event

1) Birdseye/panning shot. This displays both the swimming pool and parts of the crowd, it allows those at home to become familiar with the arena. To
gain knowledge and a sense for the layout of the arena, it allows the audience at home to feel include and to get the variety of shots that those
there would be experiencing.
2) Simple close up shot to the water. Long shot, shows the length oif the pool, as well as it being there as a background, so that they could provide
information to the audience at home.
3) Panning, long shot to mid shot. This shows the swimmers appearing from the changing rooms, this allowed the viewer to see the swimmer and
know what they look like, it allows allowed the presenter to profile them and allows the audience at home to gain knowledge of the swimmer, it
presents the man behind the legend in the sense that the presenter tells all theses things about the individual swimmer and then the camera
captures the coming out and follows them, its like showing this person is real and has dont all these things.
4) This is a close up shot of the crowd. Having this shot shows, enthusiastic supporters, using this camera shot is important as it shows that people are
very involved in sports, in enthusiastic about their countries. It displays that even through loads of the crowd are from different countries but they
are all united over one sport. It shows emotion through the camera, allows the audience at home to feel what they are feeling. Its showing its a
large event bringing people from across globe together.
5) Mid shot, swimmer getting to his place
6) Long shot. It shows the whole of the swimming pool, this shows to the audience the length of the pool, it establishes the size of the swimming pool
as well as the location, and spectators.
7) Panning shot. It replicated the swimmers appearing, then panning out on to the pool this gave the audience a perspective of the swimmer, and
what it is like for them.
8) Establishing/ long shot, of crowd, allows audience at home to see location, and how many people there are
