1. Why did you select these genres?
I selected these genres because both associate and emphasize gender roles
in their own way.

2. What characteristics make them different genres from one another?


One genre is an article with more logos and the other is a picture which is
more ethos. Both deal with gender roles in different ways by informing the
audience.

3. Briefly explain how they communicate about your subject/topic.


Both express gender roles differently, one in films and the other through
advertisement. They emphasize on how women play roles in the media and the
stereotypical gender roles especially with women.

Movies from each genre are analyzed
and the representation of each gender

It doesnt have total freedom because it
is a study that was done by the author.
The author can inform and express his
opinion, but the study itself is backed
up by facts.

purpose?
It has like an essay structure in the
article, nut with several pictures and at

the end a list of movies and the gender


that was dominant.
