New Business: There is information given to let chapters know about the
election process we want to put in place known as slate voting. We are
current with what we do now in terms of voting and the slate process will
have applications that go live for anyone to vote for. If this were to get voted
on next meeting, we would have applications live in two meetings. There
would be interviews from the application that the Executive Board would
conduct and they would conduct a slate board for the best candidates that
they members at the meeting would vote on. This could include passing the
entire slate, or counteract a member and put another name up that is
qualified. If this was passed next meeting, this would replace the voting
process in the by-laws.
