Reading Plus is a web-based program that transforms how, what, and why students
read. The program is totally personalized, in that each student will work on his/her own
pace. It is the only Common Core aligned reading intervention that prepares students to
engage with complex text by developing all three dimensions of successful readers
capacity, efficiency, and motivationwhich are the foundation of success.
Reading Plus is proven to increase reading achievement for students in grades 9 and
higher from a wide variety of sub-populations. Reading Plus not only tracks how
students perform, but also provides educators with actionable prompts to help even the
most struggling readers progress successfully through the program.
The dynamically adjusting instructional components in Reading Plus scaffold
comprehension tasks while igniting curiosity and making reading efficient and enjoyable.
Students have choice and control as they learn, which helps them develop and broaden
their interests while they build knowledge.
The goal of Reading Plus is to build silent reading skills in reading fluency,
comprehension, and writing in an effort to prepare students for college and career
readiness.
