Classroom News/Updates
We have had a great month. Your children have
been doing such a great job at showing
leadership in the classroom and in their school.
We have had a lot of testing and assessments
this past month, but I am happy to say that the
majority of October is a test-free month. Your
children have done such a great job with testing
and I know it is going to be such great
preparation for the E.O.G.s in the spring.
Remember, 3rd grade is your childs first year
with letter grades. Students need to make sure
they are putting in 110% effort on their work,
completing it, and turning it in! I am trying to put
more responsibility in their hands and we want
them to be self-disciplined, hardworking children
who take pride in their learning. I love being
your childs teacher and enjoy coming to school
to teach them every day! Thanks for sharing
your children with me.

Literacy Tip: Ask your children deeper questions about the books they are reading.
Math Tip: Review subtraction skills with students at home, counting money in grocery stores, etc.
