Stay within established boundaries.


Do not climb on anything or do anything that may cause danger of falling.
Stay out of parking lots.
Be an active participant in your group. Help take the picture. Be an actor in the picture. Give
feedback about the composition of photos taken.
5. YOU have to be in YOUR picturewhich means that someone in your group needs to take the
picture!!
6. You may have other students in the picture.
COMPOSITION
1. GET CLOSE ENOUGH. Remember that there needs to be some space for your Potatoes to be
but not too much space!
2. Use the rule-of-thirds. Are YOU in one of the points of the rule-of-thirds? Will one of your
potatoes be?
3. Use line-of-sight/leading line. Are you looking at a potato?? Is one looking at you? Are there
lines that lead the viewer into the image to create a sense of space?? REMEMBER the power of
DIAGONAL LINES!
ACTING
1. Believe it or not, to create an engaging image for this project, you will have to act! Pretend
that you can see the potato people!! INTERACT WITH THEM!! HAVE FUN! BE SILLY!
