Over the last few years a remarkable development has been seen in the cloning area
all around the world. This report aims to provide an overall view of the situation.

In the last decade, scientist from all over the world have become more and more
interested in the process of cloning as they consider it a better alternative for our
health and ecological problems. They sustain that cloning can improve our present
standard of living as it may help us cure some confirmed disease as;
Leukaemia;
Haemophilia
Damages caused by accidents;
But how effective cloning would be? And would it be fair if only rich people are able
to clone themselves as the costs of this method are very high? No one can know for
sure. But researchers believe that cloning should be a beneficial thing as long as it is
used only in certain areas like:
Producing high yielding crops or animals;
Growing adult stem cells or bone marrow;
Saving species close to extinction;
Cloning vs. alternative
There are many alternatives to the process of cloning that can be found. For example,
some should consider that is might make sense to look after your body with a healthy
lifestyle so that cloned organs wont be needed or maybe it would be better and
certainly cheaper if replacement organs were obtain from baboons. However, many
people think that cloning is an effective method due to a number of factors:
Almost everyone wants to be immortal; so by cloning themselves and
providing organs if any of theirs should fail, people could be able to extend
their lives;
There is also the problem of the infertile parents; cloning might come as a
solution for them by producing a whole human, using their genes in a donated
egg;
Cloning can also help producing armies so that innocent people wont have to
die anymore;
Further development
Cloning may be the answer of some of our problems and even though amazing
progress has been made in this area, the knowledge that we have at this point about
cloning is still not enough for us to use it. This is why the government should allocate
more money for further research on this topic because science can heal the world!
