The lions face and eyes look as
though they are staring at the viewer
of the piece, therefore most
noticeable.

The drawing is equally balanced
between both sides
The mood that was made was
powerfulness

The proportions look normal,
because the artist was aiming to
make the lion look realistic

The lines create the dimensions and
appear to have a singular line

lion.

The stance of the lion make it look as
though it were running, and its mane
looks waved as though it

The light color of the paper the lion was
drawn on contrasts with the dark black if
the charcoal. The contrasting between
the two colors creates its highlights,
lowlight, for and shape.

What do you think it means?
I believe that the lion symbolizes
empowerment, and strength.

What feeling do you think the artist
wanted to give the viewer when
looking at the work?
The viewer may have been supposed
to feel a sense of sovereignty,
because of how the lion is standing.

Does the work remind you of other
things you have experienced?
The work reminds me of seeing a
predator in its habitat.

It would possibly relate to the
empowerment the government has
had on its citizen.

it is a success or failure?
The lion was an overall success
because of how detailed and realistic
the lion is. The shape and values of
the lion were very well done.
