Analysis
Album Flow with reference to some of the tracks
The flow of the album is very appealing, energetic and consistent, there is a great
introduction into the album from one of Aviciis most famous tracks Wake Me Up. The
start of the album is very upbeat and energetic and that carries on throughout until it
fades in the middle of the album and picks up again towards the finish, with a great
ending to the album with Aviciis track Levels.
Lyrics
The lyrics in the tracks seem to have a lot of meaning to Avicii and how he feels while
producing, the lyrics in his track Hey Brother such as Oh if the sky comes falling down
for you, there's nothing in this the world I wouldn't do is repeated throughout and has a
huge significance towards it, as well as references to Home and Sister. Other lyrics
that are appealing are those used in his track Wake Me Up which consists of the
chorus So wake me up when its all over, when Im wiser and Im older, all this time I
was finding myself, and I didnt know I was lost. The lyrics are very appealing and
catchy, especially in relation to his melodies.
Quality Of Performance

Aviciis performance in the album was of great quality and consisted of some influential
tracks, melodies, beats and vocals that makes him the producer and dj he is today. His
performance is very energetic and relevant to today's EDM scene. His first and last
track in the album are what made him so renowned, as today it shows how he is a great
performer towards the crowd and his fans.
Originality compared with previous work of the artist and within the genre
As it was Aviciis debut studio album most of his original tracks were included in the
album, but in comparison to other music in the genre of electro and progressive house
his tracks were different to an extent as there was more of an upbeat country, vibe to
them which made them stand.

Conclusion
Availability with Value Rating
From my listening of the album True I quite enjoyed it, in conclusion I found the album
to be very uplifting and energetic with a good flow to it throughout, with a vibrant rhythm
and beat to it, the tracks were well structured and went well together as a whole and
that's why I feel the album deserves a rating of four out of five. It can be purchased on
iTunes, Amazon, eBay and HMV.
