VISION
Rosario National High School commits itself to the task of developing
not only academic skills but also in molding and uplifting the values of the
learners.

MISSION
To produce highly oriented youth molded by competent teachers who
are committed in making these citizens understand the value of education
and work and live in meaningful and peaceful life in the society where they

My Teaching Philosophy
To teach is to touch a life forever. Once you are teaching, you are
entering students life in shaping their minds to the great possibilities of the
world that God has created. Teachers does not just teach educational
aspects of our lives but allow students to reflect onto the things they are
learning. To educate is not just to comply with the intended learning
objectives for the students but to allow the students to become better
educated. It is a circular process that improves within time. I believe that the
responsibility of educators is to provide students with the necessary
knowledge and skills to succeed in academic, business and personal areas.
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that education isnt what you
learn, its what you do with what you learn. Education provides the tools to
make decisions, synthesize ideas, and critically evaluate relevant issues and
to enjoy life. It is the only thing that cannot be get by anyone. It is our own
treasurer, and we should use it properly. There can be person who are
schooled, but not educated. They didnt use their knowledge properly. Yes,
they learned lessons from the school, but they cannot apply it for the real-life
scenario. Teaching does not just requires feeding students what they should
learn, but to make them realize the worth of what they are learning and how
those learning will be use right.

Therefore, great teachers takes a hands,

opens a mind and touches the heart. That why pursuing knowledge and
working on to improve my skills as an educator are among my highest
priorities.

As an educator, I will strive to encourage excellence in my students

and myself. I will share all the knowledge that I have for them to grow
mentally. The different course materials that I will use should be challenging,
interactive and relevant to current issues and events. Students learn and
retain more information if the material is presented in an environment that is
interesting and interactive. For this reason, I believe that using a variety of
multimedia including video, slide presentations, and most especially the
internet, is an effective way to complement traditional course lectures which
remains as the foundation of educational experience. I know that I can
encourage students to seek new knowledge and explore their own ideas by
an enthusiastic presentation of the lessons. I guess, that the classroom
setting should be expanded to include experience in the field. It is a better
way to make the necessary connections among biological concepts than by
just observing how organisms interact with their environment.
In interacting with the students, I think it is important first to establish
a mutually respectful, honest rapport with students, a relationship in which
communication is of the highest priority. Through this relationship, a fair,
democratic environment based on trust and caring can be established in the
classroom, making it possible to interact confidently and safely in an
academic setting. I will be approachable and have the willingness to offer
help with the students about their different concerns. I will be a good friend
also for them, but there should be also limitations. For them not to lose
respect for me as their teacher.

Teaching and learning become a simultaneous journey for both the

teacher and students when students' energy is aroused by a teacher's
genuine intensity for learning, because everyone is ready and willing to
participate in active learning. To achieve active learning, a teacher must
demonstrate enthusiasm and express confidence in the students' abilities to
learn and be successful. Employing constructivist methods of teaching in
one's classroom forces the students to take an active role in their education
by making choices and assuming responsibility for intelligent inquiry and
discovery. For instance, discussions, projects, and experiments ensure
student achievement and allow students and the teacher to discover
individual student's preferences and strengths. This approach facilitates
differentiated activities for each student's distinctive ambitions, making the
subject more relevant to every student's life.

MY CAREER DEVELOPMENT PLAN

(FOR THIS YEAR, AFTER GRADUATION, AFTER FIVE YEARS)
Being a teacher is not just a profession, but it is a passion. In choosing
to become a teacher, I have made the commitment to myself and my future
students to be the best academic, personal, and ethical role model I can be.
It is my goal to have a mutually enriching teaching career by keeping an
open mind and continually communicating with my peers and students. I am
prepared to rise to the challenges of teaching in the 21st century, and I
promise to try to provide an honest, well-rounded education to every student
I encounter.
After all of the hardships that I have done, and when the time come
that I am about to leave my alma matter- Batangas State University. I would
give thanks to all of the persons who serves as my strength and inspiration in
doing all of the things which will I had. Without them, I will remain stagnant. I
will try to get the Masters degree in Education Major in Technology and
Livelihood Education and I wont stop learning cause good teacher didnt
stop learning, getting more educational courses , certificates and educational
experiences improving myself to be the best who will teach and make the
best generation of TLE graduates. I will look also for some teaching
opportunities fitted for me.
Finally, a dream to be known as the unforgettable teacher that makes
huge changes in teaching Technology and Livelihood Education in my
country is now in my hands. I am currently teaching high school students
who are active learners. I am teaching in one of the leading institutions here
in our country and abroad which implements good quality education.

HISTORY OF ROSARIO NATIONAL

HIGH SCHOOL
