Storyboard

Picture 1: Introduction: Camera following Levi from the back, with jump cuts in
between until he walks through his door. Split screen will be used here, as on the
right side of the screen, Laurence (Levis friend) will be walking. The right side of
the screen will have Levi walking home. Both the clips will have similar filming
techniques to make it seem as if the clips are copied on both sides. This will be
played for about 1 minute.
Picture 2: This scene will have over the shoulder shots and close ups. This scene
will only be about 30 seconds long.
Picture 3: This scene is where Levi is packing his bags to runaway. There will be a
over the shoulder shot and middle close-up shot of him packing his bags. There
will also be another panning shot from further away.
Picture 4: In this scene, there are multiple different camera shots used. When
Levi is walking towards the swing, which Laurence is sitting on, the camera
follows him once again. Then the camera uses shot reverse-shot
Picture 5: Picture 5, they arrive at the woods and the camera is following from
behind, shots from in front and every angle. Over the shoulder shot, long shot,
shot reverse shot etc.
Picture 6: Levi can\t find Laurence. Shot of Laurence from every angle again,
similar to picture 5. But at the end, a shot from the front, showing Laurence in
the background and he turns around. Then the screen cuts to black.

Location Address:
Henley college
Sat Nav details (Post
code):

Lighting Information:

Solutions:

There will be a lot of natural light

although the trees around the area will
block a bit of light from getting
through.

Film after 3 when the leaf later is not

blocking the light. . Hand held light will
be used or be added to the film to allow
the cameras pick up all the detail and
characters in scene

The fact the location is outside means

that artificial light will be hard to
transport as well as use.

Sound Information:

Solutions:

There are no roads nearby, however

there are sport students nearby so
noise will be created.

Film during lunch or when there is not a

class using the field.

Power Information

Solutions:

No outside power source

Hazards

Solutions:

As the shoot is in a wood, there will be

loads of tripping hazards such as
rubbish and fallen trees/ branches.

Move all tripping hazards.

Type of room/area:
Outside
Sunken garden
Location Address:
Henley college
Sat Nav details (Post

small light streaks are able to go
through the trees.

The fact the location is outside means

that artificial light will be hard to

transport as well as use.

Sound Information:

Solutions:

The college is nearby so there will be

students make noise as well as a drive
way close by.

The best way to avoid these problems

would be to film during lessons when
most students will be in class. Also
shoot in in the middle of the day to
avoid cars leaving college and making
noise.

Power Information

Solutions:

No outside power source

Hazards

Solutions:

The location is surrounded by collapsed

walls and steps. These can be a
tripping hazard as some of the bricks
could be in the middle of the location.
There are also low branches which
could get in the way and make
someone off balance.

Before filming map out where the

camera will be and go then clear the
areas around there so that it is safe to
film but does not change the location
enough to make it not suit the theme of
the film.

Lighting Information:

Solutions:

Lighting is clear with nothing blocking

the light.

Shoot on a cloudy day as the theme is

horror so sunlight is not needed. Hand
held light will be used or be added to
the film to allow the cameras pick up
all the detail and characters in scene

However the building and surrounding

trees will create shadows. The fact the
location is outside means that artificial
light will be hard to transport as well as
use.
