The Seven Commandments
Many societies have laws and values they uphold. At McEachern High School there are
seven commandments you must follow and be aware of to survive. You must maintain class,
attend football games, and address the hawks as our enemy. You may not walk under the bell
tower, nor forget your umbrella. Students are not equal on this campus and fighting is not
tolerated. These commandments must be up held at all times to maintain the balance of this
community.
Before entering McEachern High School, you must be aware of our enemy. Our enemy
are the Hillgrove Hawks. We do not tolerate the Hawks on our campus nor praising their
accomplishments. If caught breaking this commandment, you will be ridiculed and exiled from
many students. To maintain a social status you must always appreciate being an Indian over a
Hawk.
At McEachern High School, fighting is not tolerated. You may not get involved in a
quarrel with a peer verbally or physically. We a close knit community and must maintain our
peace. If you fight you will receive a 10 day minimum suspension for your punishment.
To maintain our peace, you should acknowledge the fact that all students at McEachern
are not equals. Due to the grading systems and age difference, a freshmen would not be
equivalent to a senior student. Each grade level has their own expectations and maturity level to

differentiate their education and behavior. By understanding this commandment you can prevent
an altercation.
Education is a very important aspect to the McEachern High School community. To make
sure you excel here you may not walk under the bell tower. A strong belief here is that you will
not graduate if you walk under the bell tower. Graduation is the goal for a McEachern student,
and you must not prevent this from happening.
Due to the open campus, you must be prepared for any weather scenario. To be prepared
for the most common storm, you must keep an umbrella on your person at all times. Teachers
will not allow you to skip class due to the weather. Missing class will delay your success in the
classroom and even hinder you from graduating. The best solution to this is to always keep an
umbrella.
We take pride in our schools athletics program. One sport you must attend would be the
football games. Many students, faculty, and others come together to cheer on the team. To show
your spirit and meet many other students you must attend a football game. This is an awesome
past time activity, and a tradition to the school. By missing out on the games, you may be out of
the loop on what goes on at the school and prevent yourself from meeting many new people.
The final and most important commandment of all would be to maintain class at all times,
we have to show that we are the classiest school and have pride in ourselves. To maintain class,
McEachern has a dress code and many hired staff to manage the dress code. With the knowledge
of how an Indian carries themselves you will prevent an altercation between the staff and
comments from peers.

All of these commandments are put together to complete McEachern. Each one must be
obeyed or chaos will erupt among us. As an Indian, you will represent the best. To represent the
best you have to be the best, by following these commandments you will easily become the best.
