There is not a specific author listed under the blogs posted in Classis Equine
Equipment. Each blog is submitted to the website and reviewed by the company.
Phone and e-mail contact information is listed. How Horses Breathe was posted in
2012. The purpose of this website is to share information about different topics of all
areas in the equine industry. This isnt the most scholarly website, but I would still
use it because this particular blog post breaks down horses respiratory and
circulatory systems informally. There are also links listed on the side of the blog to
easily lead the users to related topics. However, I would still review the blog
thoroughly before advising my students to access it to be 100% sure that the
information is correct and goes along perfectly with the current lesson at hand.

The Agripedia tab on the University of Kentucky has lessons and activities for
agricultural based lessons. Anatomy and Growth & Development has an activity
listed to practice memorization of the anatomy of dairy cattle. First there is a
completely filled in chart of each labeled anatomic part. After going over each part
with my class, I can have them scroll down to think below the labeled image. The
link will take the students to an image of the same dairy cow unlabeled so that they
can test their knowledge. The website was published in 2009. Therefore, the terms
are up to date.

Biologycorner.com is user friendly search engine type blog for all aspects of biology.
Teachers and students can post their lessons or search for others. I have found a
virtual sheep brain dissection on the website. It has labeled images and step by
step tutorials videos. I will use this exact lesson in my future classes when these
supplies are not available to us.

This website has a lot of articles filled with interesting, fun ways to teach students
about science. I will definitely be using the piata as an end of the course type
project. Its a perfect way to get students to participate and grasp the knowledge in
an easier way.

I got so excited after finding this website. There are endless articles involving simple
and complex lessons in agriculture. I could use this website for in class assignment
or extra credit reports. The Digestive System is a perfect way to explain the rumen,
abomasum, and rumen.
