Israel-Palestine Conflict and

Protesters
Remember the Oslo agreement, where Yasser Arafat signed with Israel for
peace. Well, that has been pretty much forgotten lately. Palestinian
protesters have been committing acts of violence against Israel. Israel has
been coming back with shooting those protesters. Nobody seems to be doing
the right thing.
One of the main things popping up in the news is that a third intifada is
coming. Talk of the third intifada has created tensions in areas of Israelis and
Palestinians. The rest of the world has ignored this conflict! The talk has been about
protesters who hate what Israel is doing to territories like Palestine! Israel has been
destroying homes, arresting people, less land for Palestine, and they are building a
road network for more Jewish settlers, creating strict rules for the people living in
territories. There are collective punishments and curfews, a wall of separation, and
murder of civilians by the Israeli forces! The Palestinians have to experience this
every day and they want to protest. They have the right to state by the United
nations General Assembly Resolution! Israel does not want any trouble like that and
kills whoever does this. All of this angers the Palestinians and is a cause for the third
Intifada. Palestinians do create and make violence and there is some terrorism, but
not all Palestinians are terrorists. From this little percent of it, Israel has made Israel
think they can strip everyone there of their freedom. Israel and the US have the
same ideas, to stop terrorism. That is what Israel says they are doing. In jail, they
torture and hurt many of the hunger strikers. It can be seen that Israel is doing the
right thing, stopping terrorism.
The other actions of the uprising intifada has surprised many people. Palestinian
protesters have set fire to a Jewish holy shrine. The group named the Hamas has
caused this. They have been causing violence for the past 2 weeks and have called
for another day of rage. The Hamas have put fire to the tomb of the Prophet
Joseph! This has caused the Israeli army and soldiers to residential towns of Israel
for the first time in years! This tomb is important to the religious culture of Israel.
Many Jewish pilgrims visit this holy site escorted by the Israeli army. This usually
leads to protest from the Palestinians. This enrages them because there religions,
Christians, Samaritans, and Muslims venerate the tomb for patriarch Joseph or Yusuf
from the Muslim religion. The Israelis condemned the tomb and immediately
compared this to the Muslim extremist groups who have destroyed other holy sites
in the middle east. This was unacceptable for the Jews because this was the holiest
or one of the holiest sites in Israel. The Hamas have been creating lots of trouble, so
the Israeli soldiers have blocked the entrance to a big Palestinian village. This
conflict as created bigger conflicts of the two governments. The Palestine
government accused Israel for being barbaric by killing the youth.
Lately, the way teens have been protesting from Palestine has been by stabbing
Israeli people. Remember how the young rock throwers always got killed. Well this is
the same thing except with stabbing. 3 Young boys from Palestine have been shot
and killed after they stabbed Israeli people in the midst of the weeks violence. They
were three different incidents. The first one was when 18 year old, Fadil Qawasmi
was shot dead by a Jewish settler after he tried to stab that person and another
settler. The second incident was when the police saw 16 year old, Jabal Mukaber
walking suspiciously and they questioned him. Then he took out a knife and tried to

stab them and they immediately shot him. In the final incident, a Palestinian girl
stabbed an officer and was shot dead! Many rights groups have disagreed with what
is going on and have said these are extrajudicial executions and there should be
allegations against Israel. Also, on camera, it was shown that they were shot when
there was no longer danger. The BTsalem has also stated that the officers are too
quick to kill. But, officers have been getting killed by stabbing. Palestine has been
protesting in groups to and on Friday, many protesters were shot at the West Bank
border by Israeli forces. The US is trying to stop the violence by talking to both
Prime Ministers on how to stop the violence. They will meet in Germany next week.
There is an even line between the two countries. The Palestinians and Israeli are
even in the amount of violence between the two. But, will they solve this conflict in
