A View on Christianity

A Christian is a man or woman unafraid to stand against the common expectation,

regardless of the consequences of defying the pre-set societal standard that most feel
naturally obligated to follow.
A society uses its influence, solely as an effective type of an automatic defense system
against the things in its universe that it cannot control. A societys only true threats are
the individuals that decide not to conform to what the masses decide is best. Christians,
happen to be a large portion of these individuals.
A Christian is one who would dare to say that perhaps society is not the ultimate
authority on morals and life. A Christian is willing to say that humans are not always
correct, but that we know the One who is. A true Christ follower is willing to stand and
proclaim the truth given to humanity by God.
Christians throughout all of history have been prosecuted and assaulted by the serpent
of society, fangs bared towards anyone who would dare to tell it that it is not correct.
This serpent is one described as one So drunk on arrogance and racism that [it] would
rather accredit these accomplishments to aliens, than to admit that [it is] not the
smartest civilization to ever live (Petty 0:45)
A Christian is one who has the audacity to believe in an ancient book synonymously
referred to as the Holy Bible, a book of truths given to society by God, for his creations
to follow. This is the bane of a Christian during ministry is Societys desire to scoff at a
Bible and refuse to believe an old book that frighteningly states that they are low,
broken, and simple servants. However this book tells us too that we are loved, we are
forgiven, and we are given a place in eternity, if we simply accept its truths.

Christ is the place a believer puts their hope. Christ is the person that a believer turns to
for love, for acceptance, for guidance, and for correction. The religion of Christianity is a
safehouse for morals and wisdom. Even if we were all wrong, even if we were
absolutely insane and had never seen the effects of Christ in our life, even if we all
believed in a made up story as society would love for it to be, Christianity is still, and
always will be, the best code of morals and ethics that a human being could ever follow.
We as Christians are called to make war against sin and evil, and this is challenged by
multitudes saying Christ never lifted a Sword yet Proverbs denounces this argument
with a statement we need to take to heart, it states If your enemy is hungry, give him
bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for [by doing] so you heap coals
of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you. (Prov. 25.27).
A Christian is willing to stand up to make war against the evil of the world by not giving it
the satisfaction of a battle, but rather by showing it the love and morality of Christ
through our actions, through our words, and through our beliefs. Christ took up his cross
and bore his burden for the world in silence, not once complaining about his
circumstances, reiterated by the words He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not
open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers
is silent, so he did not open his mouth (Isaiah 53.7) .
We as Christians are willing to endure prosecution and follow the silence of Christ,
however, like Jesus in the Temple we will become passionately involved in the spread of
Christ in our nation, and we will not stop, we will not slow down, and we will never allow
the truth to be locked away.
