Use In this activity, you set up the RFC destination from the BW system to the Appli cation Server Java. Requirements In the Application Server Java, you have set up an RFC destination for the BW sy stem. Activities 1. In SM59, Choose Edit -> Create. 2. Enter a name and a description for the destination. 3. As connection type, choose T (Start of an External Program using TCP/IP). 4. On the Technical Settings tab page, select Registered Server Program as the a ctivation type and specify the registered server program under Program ID. The program ID entered here must match the program ID that you entered when you maintained the RFC destination in the Application Server Java. 5. Under Gateway Options, specify the Gateway Host and the Gateway Service. 6. Save and test the connection.
