 *Cultural experiences links to the idea of ‘situated culture’ (personal media consumption,
small scale communications and interactions we have on a day to day basis) a part of
mass/niche media so you must make sure that you offer a consideration of the state of the
current media ecosystem and the way in which texts are now consumed by audiences
(McDougall, 2009) and the texts that audiences will already have experienced, which links to
postmodernism and feminist, Marxist, pluralist theories.
