Eligibility Requirements
Backpacks for Kids: eligible kids referred to by designated schools
Kids Caf: eligible if kids participate in specific after-school programs
Summer Packs: given to children eating a meal at participating summer feeding
sites
Summer Food Service Program: open to all children under 18 years old
Application Procedures
No registration is required for Summer Food Service Programs. Teachers refer
students to programs such as In-School Snack. In programs with feeding sites, kids
just show up.

Technicians will then perform a home inspection to decide if the home meets
program requirements.
