Alberta invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to research protein-derived biomaterials such as adhesive/plastic from agricultural protein-containing byproducts. Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. degree from a recognized university in areas of Material Science, Polymer Science, Food Science, Engineering or other related areas. In addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills, applicant with research experience and strong track-record of productivity in peer-reviewed publications and patents is highly expected. The position may involve activities of graduate student supervision and laboratory management as the case may occur. This is a 3-year externally funded project and the salary for the position will be commensurate with experience and performance.
