Speaking of opposites,
• What's the opposite of 3? ‐3
• So, when we want the opposite of a number, what do we do?
multiply by ‐1
• Find the opposite of x‐2.
‐1(x ‐ 2) = ‐x + 2, or we can rearrange this to be 2 ‐ x

*The opposite of 4‐x is x‐4.

*The opposite of x ‐ 100 is 100 ‐ x.
And so on...
